On UK iOS App Store card games list, Legends of Runeterra defeats Hearthstone

In UK iOS rankings, League of Legends Legends of Runeterra (LoR) card game is currently more popular than rival Hearthstone card game. Legends of Runeterra is currently 88th and Hearthstone 92nd, in the UK best free card games ranking, at the time of writing. In the Legends of Runeterra subreddit, the change was posted by Reddit user Purpleworrior.

On Britain’s Google Play Android app list, however, Hearthstone is currently two places above Legends of Runeterra, near the bottom of the card app list.

They said: “For the first time today, I noticed that LoR has overtaken Hearthstone on the UK iOS app store charts. In the card games category yesterday Hearthstone was 73 and LoR was 74. Today LoR is 73 and Hearthstone is 96. I guess that’s something to do with Arcane’s success.

Hearthstone is Blizzard Entertainment’s long-running digital card game – first released in March 2014 – which is based on its popular World of Warcraft franchise. Blizzard is owned by Activision Blizzard, which has been embroiled in a series of harassment scandals and controversies this year.

Apple and Google haven’t said how they calculate search rankings, but app stores are believed to track several metrics including review scores, number of downloads and uninstalls, usage stats, etc.

Elsewhere, looking at other titles in the Riot Games app store, the League of Legends Wild Rift mobile game is currently 28th and the TFT Auto Fighter is 73rd in the iOS strategy games rankings, with Clash Royale at the top. square.
