The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay, will offer a free online course on Android application development on the SWAYAM platform. IIT Bombay has initiated the application process for the development of Android applications.

Interested applicants can get more details on the official websites, iitb.ac.in or swayam.gov.in. The Android Application Development course will be initiated using Kotlin. It is an open source programming language for developing Android applications.

IIT Bombay Free Online Course on Android Application Development:

  1. Candidates must first register on the SWAYAM platform to benefit from this course.
  2. This course includes ten spoken audio-video tutorials.
  3. The course is scheduled for eight weeks.
  4. This is a course approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

IIT Bombay’s free online course on Android Application Development is best suited for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The course will be led by Professor Kannan M Moudgalya from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Students benefiting from this course should note that Java must be installed on the system to have deep interoperability.
