Android Studio 4.0 Gets New Design and Tools, Ready to Download
More information on Android Studio will be presented in the next ‘Android11: the launch of the beta‘happening next week, June 3rd. Google will share a lot of technical resources and other details on different products and services, including Android 11, Google Play, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio. The latter is currently being updated and it is now on Android Studio 4.0. Expect new and improved developer tools and features that will help developers build new apps and programs.
Android Studio 4.0 offers better tools to build apps faster and code smarter. It is now on the stable channel so that you can work on your applications with more efficiency and speed. The program offers a new motion editor, construction analyzer, and Java 8 language APIs. These are only the main features, but more are available.
The Android team worked on the CPU Profiler user interface. It has been redesigned to offer easier side-by-side analysis of thread activity, as well as a more intuitive workflow. The Layout inspector has also been enhanced to show live data from an app’s user interface. The idea is that you can see what’s going on so that debugging is easy.
The Android team worked on feedback and suggestions from developers and Preview users. We can highlight some novelties and improvements in the design, including the Motion editor, improved layout inspector, and Validation of the layout.
The Processor profiler user interface also received a number of upgrades. The Smart editor has functionality to write rules for code reduction. you will see something new Kotlin Android Live Models and receive IntelliJ IDEA Platform Update 2019.3. Clangd Support for C ++ is available.
The upgraded version supports Android Studio Build Analyzer. It can be used regardless of the minimum API level of an application. There are some Deucrating the Java 8 Language library in D8 and R8 as described.
